Howdy folks!
Just picked up my 2015 Tacoma trd off-road.
Came from a 96 ranger xlt. Big improvement! Cannot wait to get some miles on it. I have a couple questions.
Any area to watch or keep in mind?
Dealer told me oil changes are every 10k miles?!? Sounds a bit high

10k oil changes are a bit long but synthetic oils are capable of lasting that. I'd personally never do it, but if you check your oil level at regular intervals between changes you should be fine. It really boils down to personal choice and driving habits such as a lot of city miles vs. highway
 
Ok, I was wondering about that, I thought it was a bit funky. Ill stick to my 3k schedule.
Is there a break in timeframe on the 2015 tacoma trd? I didn't see it in the manual
