Thanks jangley . This is probably what I'll do I can't see spending several hundred on a light bar. I wont use it very much anyway.Its just a generic 28" ebay led lightbar with combo beam.
Heres a pic of a bar with the same mounts i have. I only used two mounts and its been fine for years. The mounts slide along the light so u can use narrow or wide mounting points. The mounts also pivot up and down for proper aim.
This is just a reference photo so u can see the mounting brackets.
Pretty sure i used longer bolts and nylock nuts which i bought when i picked up the body washers (to act as spacers and get the light lower than the steel tube).
