Bright lights dimming

Just checking to see if anyone else has had this issue! All of my lights work fine but when I have my brights on the go dim after a while you can turn them off then back on and they are bright again but go dim. Anyone know what may cause this?

Tacoma batteries have been known to crap the bed early in life.

This is true. My battery on my 2011 died a couple of month ago. Does the light gradually dim or does it flicker?

Brand new battery. Mine took a dirt nap middle of summer

I was told tacoma batteries in new vehicles are actually recycled batteries not sure how true that is but seems legit

You're right. I answered a little quickly. What I should have said was "Don't confuse used with recycled." According to published reports a car battery is one of the top items for recycling, with as much as 98% of the battery recyclable. What I read indicates that all new lead-acid batteries are made up of 60-80% recycled plastic and lead. So it's not just Toyota battery providers, but all battery manufacturers.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I'm not a battery expert just stating what I was told. But my battery is new , alternator is good , but bright lights dim.
