Fog light switch to bright

Does anyone know of a good way to dim a aftermarket fog light switch? Its way to bright and want to be somewhat the same as the others

Anything that i can hide to dim it down so it doesnt blind me. I was think like a resistor but this would work also

Just take the bulb out or move the switch. Hell maybe a piece of scotch tape or two/4 may diffuse the light enough.
I suggest u DO NOT mess with the dimmer system wiring as its different from most vehicles and relies on the negative wire or something screwy. Im not an electronically gifted person, but when i was installing my boost gauge, i wanted to tie into the oem dimmer circuit.
Searches showed a few ppl who tried and blew the whole circuit due to the weird setup.

If its an led, maybe u can open the switch up and use a sharpie on the diode to dim it down.

I will try that thank you. Im definitely not messing with the factory wiring. Im a technician at a dealership for 18 wheelers and i know what kind of problems you can create when you add in aftermarket stuff to factory wiring. It creates headaches. Lol

I get tired of gloves. I ruin them to fast. Lol. I disassembled the switch and took a green sharpie to the bulb and works and looks great now
