There is no doubt that this cargo net is overkill. It's rated for 1,500 pounds and it feels like I could build a makeshift bridge out of it and drive my truck across. But that's what makes it so great. There's no dobut that once you tie down your gear it's not going anywhere. There are grommets all over the place that allow you to position it just right. I did buy two more tie downs for it. It comes with 4 and you really want to tie down each corner and then one on each side.
