Full exhaust or not, u were not outflowing the stock one.

By this standard, my 3" system headers, ypipe and zero cats should net 25mpg?

I don't think I said that at all, just saying I got 15 completely stock, headers don't do anything anyways, the stock manifold are not as restricted like that heavy ass stock muffler

That muffler isn't very restrictive that's why you see maybe 5 or 7 horses from a TRD exhaust.

The idea behind headers for Tacomas is to remove the cats which will make more power but only a the top and will take some low end power away. OEM exhaust manifolds are made with assembly speed and price in mind, not performance especially in a mid size truck.

No smog check in some counties. You could add any kind of exhaust modification you want in my county.
