Lost power.

This started happening after I changed my oil. It's like when I come to complete stop, then start to go the rpms will go high however the truck won't move, then it feels like it catches and jerk forward. Anyone have any idea what's up.

You sure you didn't drain the transmission fluid instead of engine oil? And in response to the "where's the dipstick" question, it all depends. Not sure which truck you have but the 2nd gen 2.7 engines have a dipstick. It's my understanding that the 2nd and 3rd gen V6s don't have a dipstick.

Exactly what I was wondering. If this started right after you changed your "oil" then that may be the case. You may want to keep your driving to a minimum until you check it out.
