I have 2001 taco v6 double cab. Havent had it too long but its got 150 k on it just wondering what kind of maintenance i should do to make sure shes running good thanks!

oil change, coolant flush, brakes, has it had a transmission flush before? differential service, check all the spark plugs and alternator. maybe change the serpentine belt

I would do all the above but NO, NO on the transmission flush. Do drain & filter replace.

I asked if it had had one before... if not no, but if it has he may be coming up on time to do it again...

Transmission shops & Quick lube places highly recommended, but they are in for the $$$$. High miles transmissions worn down and particles around the seals helps keep it from leaking. If you speak to reputable dealership they would say " Factory" dont recommend flushing. But if you are going to do a complete transmission overhaul, that would be the only time to flush out the OLD fluid.

My 2000 taco said to change the timing belt every 80,000 miles. Yes, that's what it said.
