Boston comes from behind tonight with a 2 run tater in the 9th to beat the birds again 3-2.
They will go for the sweep tomorrow with their ace on the mound.
 
Boston finally beat the pirates 5-2 yesterday after coughing up game 1, then getting blown out in game 2. They're now behind the yankee doodles in the wild card race.
 
Boston just dumped cleveland 6-4 this afternoon getting closer to that top wild card spot.

On another note...I don't think many teams are a match for Detroit.
 
At least the red sox got back on track from narrowly being sweep by the diamondbacks. They had lost the last 3 in a row. Boston has a tough schedule ahead playing all hot teams. They needed that one.
On another note bostons elite centerfielder likely made the major league catch of the year robbing a diamondback of a homer. They were showing the catch on every sports channel on tv. It was incredible.
 
Boston shutout the A's again 6-0.....A's are pathetic

On another note... detroit pounded the yankees 12-2 after it was close for 1/2 the game. I don't think anyone will beat detroit for the AL pennant
