Need Help / 2009 Toyota tacoma Rear brake lights

I installed an led turn signal with a resistor hooked up to the turn signal, and I noticed that my brake lights do not work, I checked the fuse and it is good, The running lights work, signals and reverse light as well. not sure what to do, also can i replace the LED circuit board or do I have tp replace the whole light assembly?
