start here i suppose for education to accomplish this task
recent new tires did NOT solve the whiny drone noise

apparently those falkens were making MAJOR road noise droning for past year+
couldnt really tell and had to wait for new tires to see if the drone went away
it did not...not as noisy but still a drone o_O
suspect wheel bearings now and must throw parts at it see if drone goes away

have had no rainy or snow experience yet with 'em
they are quiet at highway speeds and seem stable at 90mph

I gotta an appointment with town fair tire tomorrow to go back, and have my tires rebalanced. There's a tiny steering wheel vibration at exactly 67 mph that wasn't there with the old tires. I just hope these guys have a road force balancer, or they will be chasing their tails.

Road tested the kumho on rainy wettish roads
true test came when I throttled down that 4bangar to climb an uphill onramp aggressively to the freeway from 25mph to 65
No noticeable slippage, good gripping, did not trigger traction control
The michelins on the gen1 would've been slipping all over I betcha, but that gen1 v6 is a high torqued beast unlike the gen2
But otherwise feel pleased with kumho so far

Was at town fair this afternoon getting my kumho tires rebalanced. They found one of the stick-on weights missing from the passenger front tire. It must of fell off, or got dislodged somehow. Good thing they give a 30 day warranty on all work done. I guess for looks they no longer use those old school external crimp-on weights. I'll find out tomorrow if all is good when I take my rocket ship taco out for a blast.
