That combo should fine, i would be careful on what offset you get them because thst will change the angle at which the tires will turn inside. what size tires do you have?
Currently I have P265/65R17 on 17x7.5 rims

Yeaaa i wouldnt go bigger than that without a lift, unless you know someone who has a slightly bigger tire and you can try them on...Currently I have P265/65R17 on 17x7.5 rims
265/70/17 will work. If you’re getting 16” wheels 265/75:16 will be the biggest on stock suspension.
Almost all 16” is fine. I remember reading that as well. It was just that one manufacture that I’ve ever heard of that happening. The off-road OEM wheel is 16x7” +25 offset.Can I switch down to 16" from 17" ??
I read somewhere else on here that sometimes break calipers can rub so I was worried about that
