I have a 02 double cab v6 standard it came new with the 16 alloys upgrade my differential button holds the shift longer for towing but does not lock the differential for traction according to the manual so I'm hoping someone can help me with what else is different between Standard & TRD for instance i need tires & shocks now so i thought this would be a good time to find out what all is different and for advice on possible upgrade if anyone can help.. Eeeerrr scratch that, I think I understand OP let's see....First off the button youm refer to is the ECT , that changes shift points, IF you have a TRD you have a button for E-locker defined as RR DIFF on left side of collumn mid way on dash, there's a HUGE difference, DO NOT PUSH THIS BUTTON UN LESS AT FULL STOP, turn wheel to right & slowly pull forward slowly turning right & left until the blinking light goes soiid now your diff is locked ONLY ON DIRT...

I'll let that sink in before addressing the suspension (or lack of)...
 
Ok suspension, if you want to lift, you'll have to change struts up front & shocks on rear, a few choices out there but whatever way you go you'll need longer shocks....Don't really know what else you need info wise, hit me up if you have specific questions...
