We need lots of rain and no wind. The wind has been making the fire spread fast and fierce. Luckily the last 24 hrs the wind around us has died down. The fire fighters had to pull off of fire lines and disengage 48 hrs ago because the winds made the fire unpredictable and dangerous. They have been able to go back out and start new fire lines.

Well, Wifey, Gordo and I have had quite a weekend. Wifey and I flew out of Crescent [emoji287] City Friday morning to Phoenix, where we Uber'd to a Uhaul 25' storage unit in Mesa, where I had stashed all of our belongings from the house in Pinetop a few months ago, just before closing date. We spent a couple of nights with Grandma and took off for Reno Sunday. Scored an awesome room at The Nugget and took off for Crescent City yesterday and we beat the pizza delivery guy by about 3 minutes last night. I just got home from unloading the 26' mfer. Got the yard table and chairs set up and got my feet on top of it with a cold brewsky next to me! Gordo wasn't much help but came along and was so excited when I got to his couch! If only he had opposable thumbs... [emoji848]
Gordo stayed with the landlords and apparently they all laid on the couch and ate steaks and watched movies all weekend. [emoji1] Pretty sure Gordo gained 6 pounds. He was bloated and farted up the entire house last night... gotta get the landlord back for that one... I took him for a 2 mile run this morning on the beach... 3 huge stinky [emoji90]'s and once on top of a rock where he watched the logs roll off... [emoji1787] That's the second time he's done that, 2 different rocks and beaches... I dunno why but he made me LOL as he watched the [emoji90] roll off into the sand. I guess I should thank him, it was easier to bag... [emoji23] Feckin' weirdo... [emoji2957]
AND THEN!!!... truck shows up with the first of 3 boxes from ECGS! It's like they knew I'd finally have all of my tools in my possession and unloaded today! Haha! The other 2 boxes with the exciting, heavy stuff are scheduled for tomorrow. I don't think I'll be able to get anything installed until next week tho...[emoji25] Another crazy, busy weekend coming up but, will be with family and much fun will be had, and hopefully a couple of days out on the ocean! [emoji476]

This is gonna sound crazy but, it's as honest as I can be... I went through it all 4 times in my head... 24 moves in 12 years... lol. Like, moving our junk to a different town, most of them changed states. Out of the 12 years, 10 married and 3.5 we didn't actually live together...

Jk, it's a wonderful life and May of this year we finally live together again... still another move in the near future, to get out of CA but then we're going to try to stay put for a while.
A move "down under" has been real talk recently tho... prob will be fun! Lol

Daaaang! You move more than I did when I was active duty Air Force.i moved 9 times in 22 years and once after retiring. I'm staying put here till I die! Unless I had the opportunity to move "Down Under".[emoji16]
