It really depends on the terrain. I drop to 20-25 on hard packed dirt roads and 15 for sand but no less because you can break the bead.

My tires says 44psi max so I wasn't sure. I was riding them around with 35

44 is the max the tire will safely handle when at full load. Never run max pressure unless you at the tire's weight limit. Run what the truck says for stock tires or do a chalk test for aftermarket tires.

Nitrogen is a waste unless it's free. The air we breath is 78% nitrogen.
Nitrogen benefits:
Larger molecules so it won't leak over time.
Nitrogen is dry so it won't harm TPMS sensors.
Cons:
Costs money
