Tire size question

i have 265 65 r17 on my 2nd gen tacoma i got those while stock since then i got fox suspension and new control arms with a 2inch lift now front and back. whats the biggest tire i can fit without any trimming ?

265/70R17 or 255/80R17 if on stock wheel offset. 275/70R17 will typically fit, too, if you find that size for sale.

285/70R17 will require wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels with less offset. You'll also need to cut away fenderwell plastic. Depending on lift and UCA, a cab mount chop may be necessary.

Oh right its a gen 2 .sorry .I put 265-70-17 on 9 inch with 4.5 backspace &-12 offset . they rubbed so I lifted it. 1.5 spacer up front and 1.5 GMC factory leaf spring blocks, that came off a friends '15 Z71.perfect fit. I wish I got 8 with 4.5 and -10 offset. I'm going to put 275-60-17 or 285-65-17 next set but I have at least another 20k left on the Hankooks dyna Pros , ride nice and not very noisey on the highway.

Thanks folks! I finally have some miles on my Geolander AT's and I love them. They are a little more aggressive but with little or no more road noise.
I do believe I am getting about 1 MPG less however, small sacrifice for some great tires.
