Tyger nerf bars

Those Tyger bars look nice! I was also looking at some OEM Toyota running boards on ebay?? Like I said, I was wondering what works for other Tacoma owners in Canada and the "rust-belt states".

Just found these for sale on-line?? Are they OEM Toyota side steps?? Anyone have a set like these on their truck??

You sure have had everything thrown at you BigMau I admire your determination to find a solution. I really like the look of nerf bars I'm really reluctant to buy them given the rust issues. My brother-in-law just bought a new truck and heard the same stories of rusting and he decided not to get them. As well the salesman who I dealt with said he didn't recommend them for the same reasons. Thanks so much for the info and pic!

These turned out to be for a double cab w/ long bed. Will not fit my truck.

Real truck has a 5" oval Ionic set that I think will work for you BigMau. Says they are stainless steel with inclosed ends, no endcaps.

I don't buy boards unless they are aluminum. They are lighter and easy to repaint. Also they are resistant to rust.
