universal joint inspection...

Why the same duplicate video's on different threads again....I thought you were going to take care of that.
 
When I recently replaced the center support "carrier" bearing on my 170K mile 2 gen '12, I didn't think twice about also replacing all 3 u-joints. I used the best quality Spicer u-joints I could find ($58/3). 12 years of wear & tear on u-joints calls for a full replacement when the drive shaft is dropped for any reason IMHO.
 
97 ujoints noted good at 27 years and 344k miles
Never tinkered with them
Try to grease em occasionally if easy access to em
Prop shaft was removed recently for clutch replacement
