Yeah, they were handy at one time......might be for some still..........but, won't own one myself. At least it wasn’t a handyman jack. The most dangerous thing on the planet.

That wasn't good at all! I remember dad using one when I really young......had the pickup jacked up and the jack moved and set the pickup down on the hub.....I remember he wasn't happy. Had mentioned that jack to him a few years ago and he reminded me they're good for some things but dangerous as all get out if you use it wrong.Me either. That’s one thing this guy is scared of. I had one hit me off of a tube bumper.
I think my dad still uses one when he works on his old John Deeres......I think someone makes a very sturdy base that extends out from them........My dad still uses them on the farm nothing else suits him jacking up a tractor
WOW man, what happened with safety first brother lol. I'm glad you're okay.Got the tires rotated today. The jack handle came back and 'bit' me as I was starting........called the Dr I work for and asked him if he was busy since we worked this morning I knew he was on call and was in town......asked him if he time to put some stitches in........drove to work and had the instruments, anesthetic, Iodine and sutures ready by the time he showed.....stitched her up and I was on my way. Came home and rotated the tires.....goal achieved!View attachment 18419
