What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Did the mod to keep the heater hose from rubbing on the intake plenum bracket. Took about 10 minutes and not rubbing anymore. 11,000 miles and it was just starting to get thru the thin protective cover.

Poor design for sure, easy fix though.

I didn't get any pics but I'll get one and post 'er up. Front of the engine there's a small bracket running vertical from the intake down to the block.....small heater hose runs right underneath it and rubs on the right side of the hose. There's a small protective cover on the hose and mine was starting to rub thru that....10 minutes with the grinder and I re-contoured it to where the bracket clears the hose. Here's a short video of what I'm talking about!

I didn't take off as much material as what this guy did in the video but enough to clear the hose. I'll get a pic and post it up!

Here’s a pic of mine finished. Cant get the correct angle on the pic but lower right corner rubbing on the hose now resolved.

And put a trifold tonneau cover on.
