I put my phone on silent and leave it the hell alone while I'm driving so I can pay attention and drive defensively (and offensively) to not get ran over by all the other jackasses playing on their phones while they're driving.

Ive been running that setup for about a year. Haven’t had any problems. Back in the day i remember it messed with reception but I haven’t had problems any more with iphone or Samsung

It really is crazy the way people don’t pay attention. The amount of cars and truckers that drive while on a smart phone is spooky.
