if steering wheel shakes at 65ish MPH? Just recently bought my 09 tacoma, its a v6 all stock. Just replaced rotors, was shaking when braking at highway speeds. It seems like steering wheel still shakes at highway speeds a little, not due to braking just cruising. Any one have any insight? or just not worry about it?

Usually a tire out of balance. It can also come from warped rotors or a caliper sticking but you’d know if it was a caliper from the burning smell and you just replaced the rotors.

Another thing that can cause the shaking to happen is the wrong lug nuts and not being centered on the hub. Proper torque, lug nuts and Hub centric rings can make all the difference. Especially if you have aftermarket wheels.

Roadforce balance is required... tacomas are a fickle bitch

So, where’s the best place to go? I’m army and we have a car care center on post that I do most of my work, and always have on all my vehicles, but even if they had that **** there I wouldn’t have any clue how to work it haha

Not sure whats avail near you.
I guess call around and ask if they do roadforce balancing?
I have tire shops here i can name off but that would most likely not help you as most are smaller independent shops.

Just in case that doesn't fix it, my driveshaft was was recently diagnosed to be the cause of the vibration. Replaced it, vibration stopped. '10 4x4 trd.
