I got the SR5 4X4 cuz I new I was replacing the shocks, springs & struts as soon as I got it home (OME). I figured what is the point of paying for some low level bilstiens when I would get rid of them anyway. I can (and will) buy a rear locker. The TRD is good if you're not changing anything.

His claim was that the dealer will claim that your mod put more stress on the factory parts. Its probably up to the dealer but the less they honor, the more they save.

I talked to a guy at an off road truck place and he said most manufacturers will not honor the truck's warranty if its been lifted. He was pushing the BDS lift because they will give you a drive train warranty (I forget, something like 5 years, 60,000 miles). It was like $2700 for 4 inches with...

Disconnected/reconnected the battery last night. The lights are gone. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Emissions. I didn't disconnect the battery when I installed the K&N. I didn't want to lose all my electronic settings. Now I'm thinking I need to unhook it to reset the airflow settings. The instructions didn't say why you disconnect so I just figured it was a safety thing. I was just careful...
