I can pin point the first time I saw a Toyota Pickup and thought... I really want one of those! I wasn't old enough to drive yet but man, I wanted one. It was in the movie Back to the Future.

I wouldn't do it to my truck but I like it.

I'd love to have a jacked up '84 Hilux Pickup. My dream truck!
Not terribly fond of modern Hiluxes, though I've never seen one in person. I'm more of an 80's Hilux Pickup/First Gen Taco guy.

I bought my first Toyota 4x4 long bed SR5 pickup new in 1985. I remember when they first came out...'Son of Land Cruiser' they called them.
Its been bullet proof through the years! Its dead stock except for the winch up front and the 31" tires.

Never heard the "Son of Land Cruiser" term. Sounds like a great truck though. Loved those things.

This was my first toyota truck.
    It was a 1987 4WD Xcab SR5 22RTE (4cyl turbo). I loved this truck!!
I bought it because a guy I knew had that black one Nathan was talking about from Back to the Future.
Been a toyota truck girl ever since...... yeah I'm old too but young at heart!!
How I wish I kept this truck!!

I had a 22R in my '82 Hi-Lux great little engine, body of course rusted pretty bad. It was nicknamed the "Death Trap"
I was constantly ribbed on it, people would say by the time I got rid of it there would be the engine and the bench seat, everything else would rust away.
I sold it before that happened.
