I keep reading about everyones Tacoma TRD and Pros hope I got that right. Here I'm riding around in a 2018 SR seats removed I like that for storing gear for fishing trips. Yes, a simple 4 banger that's averaging 24 MPG and fun to drive. Wife loves it as well. I guess I'm happy just adding tonneau cover, nerf bars and some husky x-act contour mats. I guess at 68 and retired simple things keep me happy?

As long as you happy and the truck is what you want it’s all Jackson Brown...

Congrats and welcome! I've considered removing my rear seats and "life-proofing" the rear but with the occasional passengers and a nice flat spot when the seats are folded down , I just can't bring myself to do it. Haha
    Simplicity is a beautiful thing!

Nothing wrong with the SR at all. They’re great trucks and a great trim level. If you don’t want all the extra stuff than why buy it?
I’ve had 4 base model Toyota trucks over the years. They were all fine with no issues at all.

I'm just a step above you in an SR5 brother. Just some Tyger step rails and black rims. You are still part of the Taco family. Welcome.

If I could have gotten a V6 6MT 4x4 in an SR I would have.
