MPG

My suggestion is move out of The People's Republic of California to a free state, just don't bring the liberal voting with it. Amazing how the ole bank account goes up.
It's just too beautiful in my city, I'm kinda surfer so I couldn't leave so cal! Can't go surfing in South Dakota!

St. Louis gas rices. I'm averaging 19.4 mostly in town with the air conditioner on all of the time.

We just did a trip from California to Alabama (5k miles for the trip MPG is what the truck stated not calculated on miles and gallons) and back we took I80 on the way there and 40 back, all freeway except get off and eat or get gas.
Best gas mileage was in Nebraska I opted for the 88 octane no ethanol gas the speed limit was 75 to 80 we were driving 80 to 85 and I got 21.9 on that tank.
Worst gas mileage was when we filled up in Texas I got 16.9 and driving 75 to 82 the very next morning when we did a partial fill up in New Mexico it jumped up to 18.5
Average on the freeway is usually 18 to 19 mpg I drive 70+ though

started trip with fresh oil change

The gas in your state has a big part in the mileage, or in California it does between winter and summer gas my mileage varies

From Jax to Atlanta averaged 23.00 MPG... On the way back drove a bit faster (75) averaged 22.7. I was satisfied... 2016 SR5 V6...

I got between 14 and 16 (at best). Certainly, coming from a previous sport german car I can't call my driving "conservative", but surely I was expecting more from the Taco. Maybe the gas formulation from Texas has something to do with it. Here most of the gasoline sold is marked with "Up to 10% ethanol".

When i drive i get about 18-19 combined. 15-16 city and 19-20 highway. If I only go 60-65 and drive ultraconservatively i get 22. I probably would have gotten another truck if i had realized how ****ty this is.

I'm with you. I get 15.6 mpg in the city. Highest I've gotten is 19.8 mpg. That was highway after a fill up. If I had known Toyota lied on the expected mpg, I'd probably purchased some other vehicle as well.

The most I average with my sport is 16.4 on the freeway but that's due to the 275 70 17 all terrains and the 2.5 inch increase with the 5100 shocks , and have a heavy foot ...
I don't know why people are complaining ... it must be their first truck lol

Interesting. I get about 23 MPG with cover and ECT on. If I turn ECT off I get 21.5 MPG. I drive 80 MPH on flat florida interstate. If I slow to 70 MPH I have gotten 24.8 MPG before.

Expected a little better but I left a Tundra that got the same so I'm use to it. It's a truck.
