Broken toes from thanksgiving last two toes on the right hind leg. Just dealing with the loss of fur after 2 months in a cast.

Yep that’s her she lived thru the hurricane of 38.
Probably though the flood of 55 too when we had back to back hurricanes here that wiped out cities, and towns. Now they're complaining about the weather/climate getting worse. We had bad ass storms even back then.

Remember the ice jams in 96? Or the flood in 82? Those were nasty. I lived in east haddam. For awhile back then. Now I’m in the middle of suburbia north of New Haven.

I only recall a few times the Connecticut river was very high in the capital area. I live near salisbury where the housatonic river is close by. We've had some flooding in the past.

Most of the trouble that year was east of the Connecticut river. But I know what caused it. Every Tuesday/Wednesday was a 6-8 inch storm. And each storm piled on to the last. With frigid temps in between. When the river raised the ice over the banks the blocks of ice were over 3 feet thick!!
