The BS Thread To Rule Them All!!!

KC Royals are the only team this season to not score 1 run
they set a new team record yesterday with 18 innings and not 1 run... old record was 11 innings to start the season
they end the season at home against the Yankees
will it be the best team vs the worst team on the last day??
100+ wins vs 100+ losses

grass is brown and dead due to another winter drought WAY below normal precip.

At the local dunkinD yesterday there was a sign at the drive thru
Effective April 2 we will be raising prices and apologize for inconvenience
So I thought well another 20c like last year for the cocoamocha not too bad whatever
I was sadly mistaken :( :( when I tried to order ahead on the app. Order was cancelled

I know we did. Me aerating and lime application didn’t help with the brown lawn. Stuff is getting green an grown AF!!!

You must've gotten some real quality spring rain
Thats all it does at this time of year, plus we got a huge dump of snow in march thats melted within a few days. My yard is a muddy sponge. I can't even walk back there without some sort of boots. Even the lake here has been at its highest level.

Meanwhile we never even got a frost line. Bummer.
Back in late December of last year we had some pretty deep frost, but little snow. By feb, all the frost was out of the ground. March brought all the snow, and with the ground not frozen anymore, its been mud city. My house was built in the 70's, most around me have been torn down, and rebuilt with the yards being graded higher. I'm lower than most, plus I have the swamp to my north, and west. Seems all the water settles in my yard every spring. I guess it's a price you pay for having a lake front home.

Any skeeters with that lake??
Only these pita tiny bugs that don't bite, but seem to fly in you mouth, and up your nose. The real bad no-seeums will come out a couple weeks later. The skeeters will be out later, mostly in the evening. They're not too bad.
Right now I'm doing dandelion control...those pesky little yellow flowers have been blooming everywhere in the yard this spring.

Right now it's 90 degrees in falls city NE
2 hours north in Wayne NE it's 38 degrees
Front moves east into Iowa
Hen egg sized hail is expected  and perhaps more tornado

Those dandelions don't grow in the arid desert do they?
I haven't spotted any of those yet!

Get some 2-4-D. Its a broadleaf herbicide. Wipes out all sorts of weeds but won't touch the grass.

I usually find it in the Farm store under different names, check the ingredient list. Get the highest %age available. Mix per directions, use a hand pump sprayer to apply.

My last batch required 1.5 oz/per gallon. One quart went from Spring to Fall.

And now I heard major snow hazard in the northern Dakota's and likely north Minnesota
