Gardens

Garden update.....all is well, arugula, and lettuce have been awesome, not to mention the swiss chard. Picked my first jalopena peppers a few minutes ago. Going to make some poppers later this afternoon. Most tomato plants are loaded, should be ready by mid month. Other items like broccoli, and cauliflower are coming along. No yellow squash, or zucchini this year, takes up too much room. The cucumbers were bad enough.

Just picked my first tomato of the season....all I can is it was super yummy. This hot summer is going to produce some unreal tasting tomatoes.

Picked some veggies this morning including some jalapeño's from a later plant I grew after these cold spells in early may. Took a bite into one, and holy chit my mouth was immediately on fire like eating a ghost pepper....not to mention my nose, and eyes watering. I can tolerate jalapeño's without issues, but I sure hope the rest of these are way milder, or I gotta figure another use for them.

I've tried to grow spinach here, but you need really rich soil, vs my other garden veggies. On the other hand, you need to process some rabbits...rabbit stew is delicious, and helps to eradicate those garden pests. A .410 shotgun with #6 shot does wonders without spoiling the meat.
On another note going to make some nachos supreme with those jalapeños chopped in the mix for an added bonus. Be using some santitas white corn chips that I've found to be a favorite of mine. You can't eat just one.
