How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

well I got some goodies today which also includes a video
After a 2 hour lunch and walk about near the sea sitting 90ish miles from CUBA I walked the 1/4 mile in the blistering 85 degree sunshine back to the lot I parked, then spotted a black gen3. THEN I spotted the plates LMAO!!! A fellow husker from Platte county 10 Columbus area LMAO. This guy wheeled his rig from the middle USA all the way to the end of the road as well LMAO
I had to open my doors to let the heat out... No shade in sight:(. Waited 10 minutes to see if the owner would stop back by his truck but 'twas a no-show. So I hopped in my rig to make an effort and drove over to park and photoshoot the 2 husker taco that wheeled as far south as you can until the road ends. Supposedly it's further south of Brownsville Texas LMAO

So today I stop by Buc-ee's for a 99¢ icee when I spot this MidnightBlack gen3 extended cab with an aluminum hard shell that I thought was so freaking cool. The owner started taking off after I snapped the first picture but he was headed towards the gas pumps and I spoke with him. It's a 2018 with an AT 4-cyl. His pickup truck looked like it just rolled off the show-room floor, including those little black hairs on the tires indicating they were new as well. He paid an additional $1500 for a roll-out floor. And he's from Colorado !

I have not yet been to Brownsville! Roads there continue into Mexico don't they?
LMAO

I'm not sure. I've never been to Brownsville. Just dont cross into Matamoros. Bad joo-joo.
I read or heard that one border crossing by big bend park you can get into a convoy that has armed escorts to cross the border and reenter somewhere on the south slope to avoid the 200 mile treK around that big park

Went to get a haircut this morning and the parking lot was empty. Came back out a half hour later and notice there's a Tacoma parked besides me. Beautiful, SuperWhite gen3 SR5 with blacked out wheels and subdued predator bars. Good looking pickup truck.

Stopped by the Walmart on West 380 this morning and there it was in the corner of the parking lot. A 1970's Toyota RV. Not sure if it's a Chinook or a homemade job but it's still road worthy with current Texas tags. And it's a manuel transmission. An an old man sleeping in the back. Now this dude is a traveling man.

So after Walmart I went directly next door to Sam's Club for a Nathen's hotdog. No, I'm not a member but they let outsiders take advantage of their concession stand (been doing it for years). Spotted this good looking White gen1 SR5 2WD. Bull bar looks a little big. Handsome little fella though. :)

I thought everything in TX was bigger.....including bull. :p:p:p

Was it jay in his new truck?:)

Well....not everything is bigger.

Alaska is contemplating splitting into 2 states......making TX the 3rd largest state. :p:p:p:D:D

Just came home from an errand. Wife wasn't home either. When I pulled into my driveway, there was this well known wrapped/ lettered up pest control 3rd gen sr tacoma with a cap parked in my driveway. A young guy was loading some stuff up in it. I asked what he was doing? He told me how he just finished placing these baits around the house, and sprayed the lawn. I asked him again who told you to do this? He said the office gave him a work order for carpenter ants at 214 s lakes rd. I told him that's about 200' to our left.....this is 204. Now I know my neighbor has ants, oh my. This kid sort of took a gulp, and didn't know what to say. Well I told him, you'd better get your butt in gear, and do his house before your boss questions what's taking you so long....and btw, thanks for the freebie.

@tacojoel

Be sure you document that exchange. The Pest Company may try to invoice you for the service.

I do agree with your position on the error. You didn't order the service, the service guy worked at the wrong address. Not your bone.

I don't see how they can charge me for anything, being at the wrong home to begin with. I think the home owner has to authorize a contract for these guys to come. They'd need to have some form of credit, or payment to even begin. I'd have to thank my neighbor...he probably just paid for some pest control at my home.
