I hear ya. I went to Big Bend a couple of weeks back and had a blast. 4 Jeeps and 1 stock Taco

Imo, unless your planning on some fairly serious off-roading with the trd, all the taco trims are very capable. I was amazed what i put my sr5 through already without getting stuck. Even those old toyota 4x4 pickups of past decades were very good in the bush when i did fishing trips in northern quebec.

LB too , I found most trails , a stock truck works just fine, where I go, 5-10% of the road ways , better to have a lift and more aggressive tires. because of my long bed , I added this trailer hitch skid plate from Supreme Suspension. Worth it. To protect the bumper.
