the climate crisis...

Been very hot, and humid for days now. Should hit well over 100 on the heat index scale here today...it's over 90 degrees and it's not even 10 am.

Another consecutive day with a heat index of a 105, or so. Had some relief last night for 20 minutes when a horrendous downpour with wind driven rain....then the heat was back. Its wicked out there right now.

Cooled off 20 degrees here on the great plains from yesterday
Still a hint of the nasty humidity that NO shade can rectify

Just returned from my shop....digital temp gauge registered 103 degrees before I left. Taco's steering wheel was too hot to grab. Had to run the AC a few minutes before I could touch it. If I placed my arm on the center console's lid, it would stick to it like it was glued there.

I Love me some below zero weather and the bitter Nip that bites at your face

It's exceptionally hot around this Midwest area for this late into September
Nearly 90 degree hot is hot

Been on the dry side here in northwest connecticut with no rain in sight. Days are in the mid 70's, and nights in the 40's....was warm last week. Leaves here have been changing colors. Fall has come. Garden is nearly kaput. I've cleaned up most of it last week.

that is another thing... No real Rain here (other than 1 afternoon for a bit) since back in July

I just heard today about the poles shifting a bit, not sure by how much distance
But enough to change weather patterns from the norm...
The source on this is not credible
