What's Your Tacoma's MPG

About 18 around town and 21on the highway. You can get decent mileage if you keep the Rpms at or below 2000 Rpms at take off. ( but you'll be driving like an old man)

Its actually RPM...nots RPMS.
My english is not best, but the plural of word is already in revolutions.... sos, it said RPM.
 
I get 25 mpg with country road driving in the 40 - 50 mph range I have pushed it to 28 but I really have to try. My 17 mile inbound commute to work I get 27 mpg. I have 2016 TRD sport full four door cab 4x4 with long bed covered by a leer cap.
 
Well, maybe is my lead foot, but I just get 16, maybe 17 (if I'm lucky); a little bit disappointing comparing what others are getting. Mine is a TRD Off-Road, 4x4 auto DCSB, with OEM Tonneau Cover. My truck only have 1.5k miles, so I'm hoping that it will improve a little bit after the break in.... honestly I was expecting a better MPG close to MFR numbers.
 
I have a 2004 Tacoma. I get 18mpg (not a lot of stop and go driving) and 25mpg on a trip using mostly 5th gear. It is a 4 cylinder. I think that is about as good as it gets.
 
Ive tracked my 2016 trd off road 6spd/auto mpg since purchase dec 2015. 10k on the clock now. Best mpg on 1 tank 20.8. Worst mpg on 1 tank 13.1. Average mpg since purchase is 18.6. Now having said that, i didnt buy a 4x4 truck with mpg in mind. Want mpg? Buy a prius. Lol
 
I've actually got 20.3 running 345 miles averaging 74 mph with ambient temp of 70°f. That's highway and about 20 stop signs and red lights thrown in.
I also have gotten down to 13.4 driving the same speeds on 295 miles the next day with average Temp of 30° with a cross wind of 20-30 mph.
Pulling any type of trailer....., Cary a gas can with you.
 
I'm averaging 14, I'm sick about it. I even used 93 octane with no improvement. 2017 with 1500 miles on, never ran better than 14-15. Dealer says winter, blah blah and tries to change subject. Asked about firmware update they said there is none. It's not even close to their 17-24 avg 20. Love the truck but this is BS!
 
Regardless of what the manual says, it takes about 5000 miles to truly break in an engine. During that time, you'll get low gas mileage. I have a 2017 SR5, and I'm averaging about 21 mpg. Actually, that's not too bad considering I only have about 2100 miles on it. Once the engine is broken in, if I get 25 mpg, I'll be ecstatic. Just give it a little time.
 
I'm only getting 14.35 Mpg, 2011, TRD Crew Cab Stock 4X4 Auto Stock Everything, Just put new Iridium NGK plugs In.
 
14.35 mpg for a 2011?? Holy smoke! You must have something else going on there. (I've also got a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500, and it gets - at best - 14 mpg, but that's a 5.9L.) I've got the 3.5L in my Taco and just broke (if I'm to believe the truck computer) 25 mpg on an out-of-state trip (mostly hi way driving) yesterday.
