? Where is the Gen1 Taco traffic at ?

How about clutch fluid?
Mine was nasty looking when I had to get the master and slave cylinders replaced at 207k

Sorry. Don't know about the clutch fluid. Probably wouldn't hurt to change it on a 30 or 60K interval.

Changing too frequently is not damaging. Not changing ever.........well........s41t happens.

The automatic in my truck needs a fluid/filter change at 100k intervals. Its a simple task, a bit messy and a little complex to verify the fill level but nothing terrible. The last manual I had was in an '89 Toyota Celica GT. Unfortunately, I had to give up that ride when the 1st kid arrived. Car seat would not fit in the Celica. It hadn't reached any service intervals except oil changes. Loved that car.........

We were a young couple out of college working off school loans and buying our 1st home confounded by the expense of the 1st baby.
Swinging 2 vehicle payments was not within our means. So, the Celica was traded for a '92 Jeep Cherokee Laredo for the wife. I then settled into a '76 Buick Skylark........:(

Barn????? I didn't even have a garage...............

a google search triggered this...

What is the most reliable year of Tacoma?

Even though it takes you back more than 20 years to find the Tacoma versions with the fewest problems, the most reliable versions of this Toyota truck are found in the 1995-2004 model years. These trucks are highly reliable and have very few reported complaints.

Denver John: Apologies for not responding sooner. You're clock is closer to mine than you think.

At 706k we encountered a space rock. Said rock ran a red light and t-boned our worthy ship. To our astonishment, rock's insurance company did not total the Taco!

Now with new fender, door, uca, knuckle, wheel bearing, tie rod, nerf bar, etc. we've resumed our space journey. Will chime in again at 725k.

BTW, Houston, unsure what a 2002 Taco w/700k is worth, but the damage was nearly $7,000. Amazed it wasn't totaled.

Out!
