87,89, or 91 octane?

I work for a well known fuel retailer, there is no midgrade tanks, it just blends the 87 and 91 to give you your midgrade. At least thats the way ours work.

33% 91 and 67% 87

I'll try the higher octane. How soon do you see results? Second tank third or right away?

Id try 3 tanks... ur gunna have some dilution going on when switching from 87 to premium.

Besides, i doubt anything will be dramatic, or it would show on a dyno

The dramatics is in the thinner wallet.

I don't have issues with 87 so far but some of the comments would be interesting to investigate. If there is noise reduction or any noticeable performance difference might be good to know when I start trailering my Alpine.
