Got my tire size threads mixed up, I have 285/70-17. You're going to rub, spacers are the inferior option.
Best option is a good wheel offset to help clear everything.
Still grateful for answering my newb questions. The wheels that the tires came on are 16x7 with a 25mm offset - I like them and they are stock Tacoma wheels. If I did a 3”/1” lift and put 1.25” spacers on to add some turning room, do you think I’ll rub the wheel well?
Yes 295 is wide for these trucks. 285/75:16 will rub some with that set up.
