So.........

I dropped 29 trees yesterday, limbed and cut them into fire wood size, and hauled two trailer loads of Allen blocks and caps, bought a case of adhesive and then exhausted i rested on the couch and fell asleep in front of the tv. Today I took the pickup and my heavy duty trailer to work to haul a kubota mini home tonight to dig the pond and then excavate level the retaining wall area. B had been digging the pond hole with a shovel...i told her to stop and let me do it that is a lot of work and she was shoveling it into a wheel barrow and wheeling it into the bush to dump it.
I will use the kubota and put it into the trailer and back it into a low area beside the shop as fill. I'm not a brick layer, so hired a couple of guys to build the wall they start Wednesday, and then when its done they will pour the concave cement for the pond. B ordered a pump and waterfall structure for the pond. Then I will need a few dump truck loads of top soil for the area behind the wall and will use the skid steer to get it in, put in the underground sprinklers, and she can plant flowers and shrubs...then the guys will build a set of concrete steps. I cut my work hours down to 60 from 200, and took the price from 9k to 22k. Lol.
This is before I even marry her...I'm scared.
She said that it needs to look good for the wedding...i thought it already did.

No matter what youre original plans were, this is turning into a very expensive wedding.

I'm sure that she would have me doing it anyway, but using the wedding as a reason for it being done asap, not me dragging my feet. After working all day I am tired, so like my evenings to myself, not working. Tomorrow I have to fly some, but plan to take half the day to get yard work done as well.

Did you see Rocket Man? Almost ast as good as Bohemien Rhapsody.
so.... Scott, i watched Rocketman after the race tonight. omg, i thought it was great! its always heartbreaking to get a glimpse of the not-so-fabulous side of an artists life. but you have to hope the good times outnumber the bad. and yes...just like when i watched Bohemian Rhapsody in the movie theater... i laughed, cried and sang along! You and me both. I love the way they used his songs to portray his life. I wasnt expecting it to be a musical-ish film, but I really, really enjoyed it. When I hear an Elton John song now scenes from the movie pop into my head.

they did a great job of that. and the actor Taron, did great too. i never knew Elton had such strong relationship with his songwriter. i wished they could have been partners. it looks like he finally has a happy little family though. the end where he finally gets his hug... baaah waterworks! i love his music because it has feeling, and you can really belt out singing in the car! :)

So...sitting on the couch, watching a television show called Wheeler Dealers. These two guys are funny, and enjoying the show.
But honestly, wishing I was at work.

I watched a bunch of television, cooked, cleaned, walked the boys, then bathed them, worked on my motorbikes some, hopefully get back to work soon...had all winter off due to injury, can't handle more.
sounds like a good day. [emoji4] so, i thought yoy said you were already busy being back to work? different work? how many irons in the fire? haha!
