is anybody here from Texas?

Has anybody ever crossed this border at the very end of US-67 in Presidio, Texas and starts in eastern Iowa on the Mississippi river

The Presidio Ojinaga International bridge toll is $3 for passenger vehicles and $0.25 for pedestrians. There is no charge for crossing the border as such, but you will need to complete some paperwork. If you stay in Mexico will be longer than seven days you will have to pay a fee.

I lived in El Paso twice for a total of five years and had no idea where Presidio, Texas is. It's 3hr 54 min drive. It looks just like El Paso. So no, I've never crossed the border there.

El Paso is a large city!, I have not been there yet, although it is the closest crossing to me lol
This Texas town is small, maybe 5000? Or fewer
Some of the border crossing reviews say it can take several hours to cross by auto + paperwork

Oh I don't doubt that one bit. Probley like the Sant Teresa, NM crossing which is about a 15 minute drive from El Paso but its so tiny. If I remember correctly, El Paso has the most legal border crossing with six….

That US-62 out of El Paso is a good scenic crosscountry route to Niagara falls
One of the few y US highway maybe the only east west that runs border to border I believe I read
It's nasty through Arkansas and then that bridge to Illinois and Kentucky

Damn, didn't know that either. The only escape routes out of El Paso was I-10, US54, and the border highway

US54 goes through Mexico Missouri lol
But then ends on a sad note somewhere in nowhere Illinois :(
The border highway. Now I remeber, well not the official highway name but Evreyone refers to it as Doniphan avenue as it goes through the Westside. I lived very, very close to the intersection of Lindberg and Doniphan drive. I kind of miss El Paso…..

I'm central Texas. Right across the street from Fort Hood. 45 min north of Austin.
I spent two assignments at that God awful place called Ft Hood for a total of 6-years. If I could only describe that gag reflux sound then you would understand. Killeen and Ft Hood are intertwined I promise…..

Well the storm started brewing this morning here in Denton County. Schools started closing early as well as a few businesses. I took these pictures about 20 minutes ago of my yard. Unfortantely, it's sleet and the roads are covered in ice. I'll be in 4H on my way to the spirits store this afternoon. ;)

Yes I'm from Texas, born and raised! Why do you ask? Are you visiting The Lonestar State anytime soon or something?

Ice storms around Texas today, the weather channel said today
They sure did and Denton County is going to get another round for sure. Fox4 weatherman Evan "Freezing rain & Sleet returns today." Said entire Metroplex will get more ice and sleet today and tomorrow.
Yes I just called my boss and told her I'm not coming to work today! From what she said it sounds like work may get canceled today because she said nobody is coming to work today!

I like to watch Evan on Fox4 myself, he's usually pretty accurate! He just said the winter storm warning has been extended until Thursday!

You should see the ice and snowpack I have been wheeling on in 4wd and Manual T in Wyoming and Montana for too many miles

Speed limit 80 and I don't feel safe wheeling more than 50, which almost doubles the travel time!

Be careful out there. 80mph is way to fast.

Don't parts of Texas like on i-10 have 80 limit?

Wyoming north and south Dakota and parts of Montana have 80 limit
At one time in the 90s Montana had NO limit during the day

You could go over 100mph with no worry from the triopers

You are absolutley right. I-10 & I-20 in West Texas are posted as 80MPH. I used to run those routes all the time from El Paso to Missouri. Oklahoma has posted 80MPH as well in some spots. I go 9 over on the Interstates and have never been pulled over for speeding.

I live in TX. Great State but not a lot of places to off road around Lubbock.
I drive up and down US62 all the time, never knew it went to Niagara Falls.
