I think 2019 may have been the last year toyota had at least one on the front driveshaft u-joint.I have a few zerks on my 3rd gen.

Price a couple years ago was around $20/ea. Very little difference with zerk location. Spider or end cap were within a buck or two.Ya get what you pay for. Not a bad idea really
I would say it wouldn't work or be very difficult. You need to cross drill the spider with intersecting bores. Drills that size and length tend to snap inside the hole.So just spit balling if ya took the originals and zerked them yourself. Would that work? Prolly no room on the end of the cast 4 way nevermind.
