It's Midnight; what are my fellow Tacoma owners doing ?

Yep. That's me. 1985. My very first Ford, a 1976 Pinto hatchback. I paid $300 bucks for this POS and before I got the license plates in the mail, I wrecked it. 4-speed manuel. Man it was quick. Randy's Auto said I had to have it and the rest is history. Taking a girlfriend home on a gravel road at two in the morning; dumb.

So then a week later I wanted yet another Ford Pinto and bought this one off a buudy from work for $200. No AC, heater inop, and just a piece of crap but hey, it was another 4-speed manuel. It was 18 below zero on my way to work and you know how ya scrape off just enough ice on the windshield so you can see. I leave the house at O'dark thirty and three blocks later, BAM ! Some ole geezer T-Bones me and I wreck yet another Ford. Those were the days. I'm sure Jay will recognize the 56-county. :)

Holy sh*t TexasBigBlue! I remember when I was probably about 5 or 6 my aunt, which is my dad's baby sister, got her first car which was a Ford Pinto! I don't know the year model but I remember it was a light blue! Her's was actually the sport model, it had the sunroof and the rally wheels! I think she got it in '81 or '82, not sure but I know it was somewhere in there! My dad is the oldest of 6 kids there were 4 boys and 2 girls and they were all spread out over a 20 year period, this aunt is the baby of the family! My dad being the oldest was the one who went and negotiated the price of the Pinto for her, I remember going with them when she got it!

I remember you said you had a '65 or '66 Ford F100 TexasBigBlue, I think you posted pics of it on here! My first vehicle was a '66 Ford F100 shortbed Custom Cab that was my grandpa's, I wish I could find the pics of it to post on here! I do have pics of my '93 Ford F150 shortbed XLT on my phone here!

I remember the pictures you posted. Our Ford trucks were very similar.

Yeah I wish I knew where my pics of the old '66 F100 were, I'd post them on here! It was about the same color(s) as the one you posted of yours! It was the 2-tone tan and Wimbledon white! I rattle canned the bed in primer gray because the tan color paint was peeling and the Wimbledon white had a lot of surface rust!

One of my old boss's when I worked part time after school had a red, and white 66 F100. It handled so bad it was scary to drive. One of the guys that worked there said the twin Ibeam was bent. I just took their word for it. At any rate it was like sailing a boat on the high seas.

Holy Bat Chit Batman it's after Midnight and I'm still freaking awake ! The wifey played hookie from work today and we made the 42 minute drive up to Thackerville, Oklahoma. Home of the 3rd largest Casino in the world, winstar. Every time we come here I donate to the casino and she wins every time on the slot machines.

Well tonight she still won a little bit but after three hours on the roulette table, I walked away with a 118 bucks ! Go figure. But it ain't over yet; we don't check out of our hotel room til 11am in the morning so i know I'll take that $118 and try to double it. We got comped breakfast and I want my chili and pancake special with a fried egg on top and syrup so we'll see….

Hot damn! The Texas Rangers are now on their way to The World Series, they beat out The Astros 11 - 4 tonight! Let's go Rangers!
We watched the entire game flipping back and forth between the Rangers/Astros game and the 49's game. So happy for those Arlington boys.

Yeah buddy! I didn't actually watch the game however I kept checking my phone periodically to get the score! It seems they were ahead pretty much the whole game!
