Heck that looks mint compared to the lightweight aluminum flywheel I ran on my drag car. The flywheel face was all scorched, and scored. I can see why the nhra rule book demanded an approved blow shield.

You have to check all that out after installing a new clutch...usually 99% of time if all oem toyota components, no adjustments are necessary. It seems like the new parts have a smidgeon difference, or your clutch pedal linkage is so played out/worn from when it was new causing the issue.
Didn't ask, but was the bell housing replaced?
