Yeah. They lack low end torque big time too. My cummins is slow and it feels like a rocket after driving the tacoma

I actually like the exterior of them but you’re right, the interior is nicer. I wish the seat material was still the same as the second gen.
And yes. They are pretty slow. lol. They do just fine though.

Actually I had that happen on a first gen once. I was on a lunch break and thought I’d go try a local quick lube out. The tech looked at me and said “that’s strange, your oil is red”.
It’s hard to even get mad at that stupidity. The kid got fired right there.

I'm a member on both and I very much prefer Tacoma Forum. I only go to World to look for pieces parts. For advice and general knowledge I hit up the Forum.

I have been a member of Tacoma World for 7 years and the quality has went down hill. Went from a 2 nd gen to a 3 rd and the mentality on the 3rd is some much different then years ago. Seems like everyone wants to talk **** instead of bench.racing and friendly help. Great classifieds but the rest really sucks. Full disclosure: got spanked for saying Liberal and California in the same sentence. First time I have ever been.banned for any reason on social media. Some moderator got his panties in a bunch and had to hit the "I have power over you" button.
