AC power is back on line.....yippee....120 volts throughout. Just finished wiring my fusible disconnect panels completing a 150' underground 2 circuit 20 amp line from my home to my barn. When I started pulling the old cable from the wall of my garage where the electrical service sits, I found the old cable burnt with the inside 10 gauge wires melted...the ground wire was totally vaporized. I can't believe it didn't start a fire in my garage. Lightning sucks. I thought I was smelling something like asphalt shingles burning months ago, but chalked it up to the wife cooking some brownies. I guess I owe her an apology.:(
 
Took a ride into town to cvs to pickup my prescription meds. While parking my truck, a beautiful 1970 caddy fleetwood pulls in along side me. This car is spotless/mint, but boy is it one big boat. I think you can haul an entire ball team in that thing.
