the climate crisis...

Almost 2 inches of ready-to-ice outside there here
The climate crisis change drama

Expecting 2-4" snow tonight with falling temperature to the low 20s with winds gusting to 50 mph. Severe windchill and blowing snow.

Gonna be miserable.

We have had rain all day.....started sometime last night. I expect some ice as the temp falls thru 32 with rain.

Some ice is nothing.. almost 2 inches of ice when this slushy freezes

Just received an email alert from my electric power supplier that this is a big bad storm coming, expect power outages from heavy snow, strong winds, and heavy rain with flooding. Another words, more of what we've been already getting.

Heed the warnings.

We ended up with about 1/2" ice covered with 4" snow and winds up to 50 mph causing drifting. Many roads closed, big chunk of I-70 and numerous others.

Driving was extremely treacherous.

It's raining now here, and suppose to get much worse. All the snow we got the other day will likely be gone.

That is about where i80 was also closed in central newbraska
