34 degrees this morning, and a miracle is happening...the sky is clearing. The sun will finally make an appearance this week.
 
31 here... snow is nearly melted in full except for shady areas

Well, sob, thought it was going to be a nice day. Sun a appeared for a minute, then clouded up with sprinkles...been that way since late morning.
 
reports are ~700 days since 1" snow seen in NYC and Philly area

big heavy snow is forecast to pound upon the area in short order
going to clip that NW corner of CT also

Hang on.......if predictions are close. This will be a pretty heavy series rolling thru. Storm 1 will just be cleaned up when Storm 2 arrives.

Prep now. Best to be ready and not need than the other way around.

Keep your eye on the forecast. I suspect it will become worse as Thurs, Fri, Sat approach. Then the follow up will roll in early next week.
 
a light snow fell last evening here, more like a trace amount

expected 2" to 7" on Monday but probably mostly rain mixed into snow

OMG! then they forecast more snow later in the next week

and then temperatures plunge to possibly 50 degrees below freezing :eek: next weekend
that is -18*F approximately
bitter cold for a few days
 
15 degrees outside on my deck this morning. They claim some snow is coming, but amounts are all over the place ranging from an inch to 12.
 
time to get your Taco out and get some good snow wheelin' in the books
give it some exercise!

i yearn for a blizzard to go and wheel the taco in
its been at least 3years since one came through these parts
 
Hoping the trails open up with this storm, so I can finally get the snowmobile out there. Gotta get at least a ft on snow to make a decent base.
