? Where is the Gen1 Taco traffic at ?

As more gen1's end up in the boneyard, there's less good ones being for sale causing their value to rise.
I can't for the life of me wonder why these gen1 guys are so afraid of these newer tacoma's that has all this nanny crap. If you don't like it turn it off, or desensitized it like I did with mine. You still end up with a better riding truck with way more power, yet about the same, or better fuel economy. With these newer trucks, you get a cheaper insurance rate too.
Reminds me of back in the day when vcr's were being phased out for dvd players. Everyone began hoarding their vcr's till parts became no longer available to fix them. In the meantime the ones that were still working well were being sold as used for more than they were worth.

could it the future cost of fixing that nanny stuff when it will break and leave in limp mode

no way is insurance any less on the newer ones with All Those Nanny Safety Sensors

The nanny crap has nothing to do with the trucks performance. It's there for insurance purposes helping drivers that can't drive well, to protect them from themselves, and others. The limp mode built in the ecm, is mainly to protect other critical engine components from catastrophic failure, should it detect a sensor thats sending a code, but even thats not always the case.
