Yes, just like the cell phone companies and their 2g, 3g, 4g, and now 5g (a mobile communications standard intended to replace 3G, allowing wireless internet access at a much higher speed). So, to keep up with the Milenials and the genZ generations, I will officially refer to the 4th generation Tacoma as 4g.

"Terra" will be the newest Tacoma color released in 2024 and as always, the one that gets this color is the TRD Pro the first year. This Texas Longhorns "burnt orange"color is just not my cup of tea.

8 speed tranny? Some of you guys keep harping toyota can't even get their 6 speed right they have now.
The saying goes...if you can't baffle them with your brilliance, then baffle them with more bs.

It cost me $34k, and change for my 2020 sr5 access cab, but I had tech packages ordered with it also. It was the doc fees, and sales tax above that, which brought the total close otd, to the msrp for a 2024 of the same trim, and you don't get any of the tech stuff I now have. Here in connecticut vehicles need more items like mud flaps to be legal on the public roads. Even at this date if I sold the truck, it's still worth close to what the msrp was....at least on carfax.
 
So toyota.com unleashed their "Toyota configurator" late last night with all the prices, trims, and models (minus the TRD Pro and Trailhunter). It's the old "build my tacoma.com" webpage and when I created my dream Taco I must say Ouch. The pricing has went up so crazy for every model and trim package that it almost wants me to wait a bit longer on a new Taco. However, I've already made up my mind and I'm getting my new 4th gen TRD Sport Premium MT Taco but….Ouch. $50,989 before the $1,495 delivery fee and TTL.
