What did you do to (or with) your truck today?

Nothing worse to affect fuel economy, and performance is tires that weigh over 35 lbs, and are e rated for these gen3 v6 taco's. A fishing buddy had these 40 lb e rated 265 70 16's tires on his 2019 trd....said it killed his gas mileage, and made the transmission hunt like no tomorrow.

I'm good with that little drop in mpg's.

That's not that great, especially that 13.3 mpg, Thats tundra territory. I got that on short trips in winter with my tundra v8. With these stock 245/75 16's Firestone Le destination tires on my sr5 v6 taco, I haven't seen worse than 19 mpg, and change towing my 5x10' trailer with a snowmobile and gear. Been seeing almost 23 mpg on average when nearly empty. For all I've been told by toyota, they end up choosing the best overall tire when building a certain trim truck. Been happy with the firestones so far. Who knows I may end up with another set.
